LIMITED WARRANTY TO OUR REPLACEMENT AUTO GLASS CUSTOMERS
C-Auto Glass warranties its workmanship for up to one year:
If your automobile glass has been replaced by C-Auto Glass with a new replacement, your new replacement glass is warranted to the original purchaser only as follows: (1) for a period of fifteen (15) days after installation by C-Auto Glass if your glass develops a stress crack. The determination as to whether damage constitutes a stress crack will be made solely by C-Auto Glass; and (2) for a period of twelve (12) months after installation by C-Auto Glass for poor workmanship. Poor workmanship means conditions and damage resulting solely from the installation process of C-Auto Glass and does not include manufacturing or design defects in the glass or related parts or any damage not caused by C-Auto Glass. To exercise your rights under this limited warranty, make an appointment with C-Auto Glass at 5208 Broadview Rd., Parma, Ohio 44134, (216) 351-2193, to bring your vehicle to C-Auto Glass with evidence of original installation by C-Auto Glass (such as a copy of the invoice). To the extent the damage is covered by this limited warranty as expressly provided herein and you present evidence of installation by C-Auto Glass that is satisfactory to C-Auto Glass, C-Auto Glass will correct the damage without charge. The above warranties are VOID if any modifications, alterations, repairs, replacements or attempted repairs or replacements have been made by any person other than C-Auto Glass without the express written authorization of C-Auto Glass. C-AUTO GLASS’ LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, ARISING OUT OF ANY WARRANTIES PROVIDED SHALL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO REPAIRING AND REPLACING PARTS UNDER THE CONDITIONS AS AFORESAID, AND IN NO EVENT WILL C-AUTO GLASS BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. C-Auto Glass makes no other warranties and, except as expressly stated in this limited warranty, DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES as to all supplies, materials and products INLCUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS to the extent permitted by law. To the extent complete disclaimers of implied warranties are not permitted by law, C-Auto Glass LIMITS AND RESTRICTS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, to the duration of the express limited warranties contained herein as stated above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions herein shall render this limited warranty void.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
LIMITED WARRANTY TO OUR WINDSHIELD REPAIR CUSTOMERS
The repair of your windshield will produce a cosmetic improvement to your windshield and, in most cases, will prevent the damaged area from spreading. These benefits and the relatively low cost make a windshield repair a practical alternative to a windshield replacement. The repair of your windshield is a process involving the injection of special adhesives into the damaged part of the glass. The adhesives used are compatible with the glass and, in most cases, will appear nearly invisible. Please be aware that several variables determine the degree of success in each repair. Some of these are: the length of time since the damage occurred; the size of the impact point; the length of cracks radiating from the damaged areas; and the amount of moisture and foreign matter that has penetrated the damaged areas
If at any time, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the repair performed by C-Auto Glass, we will apply the cost of repair to the purchase of a new windshield from C-Auto Glass. In such cases, the windshield must be purchased from and replaced by C-Auto Glass. If your insurance company originally paid for the repair, any credit due will be applied to the portion of the charges to be paid by the insurance company for the purchase of a new windshield. This guarantee is not transferable and applies only as long as you own the vehicle on which the repair was made. Although successful in most situations, occasionally the attempt to repair a windshield results in the damage or chip becoming larger. In such situations, C-Auto Glass cannot be held responsible for the increased damage to or breakage of the windshield and C-Auto Glass explicitly disclaims any and all warranties for such increased damage to or breakage of the windshield, INCLUDING ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. In this event, if you decide to replace the windshield, the replacement cost is your responsibility and you hereby agree to hold C-Auto Glass harmless for any and all increased damage to or breakage. C-Auto Glass will, however, apply the cost of the repair towards the purchase of a new windshield, under the terms and conditions described above. C-Auto Glass makes no other warranties and DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. To the extent complete disclaimers of implied warranties are not permitted by law, C-Auto Glass LIMITS AND RESTRICTS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN AS STATED ABOVE. THE WARRANTIES CONTAINED HEREIN DO NOT EXTEND OR APPLY TO USED GLASS and C-Auto Glass expressly disclaims any and all implied and express warranties, including THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. All used glass sold and/or installed by C-Auto Glass is sold and/or installed AS IS. To the extent complete disclaimers of implied warranties are not permitted by law, C-Auto Glass LIMITS AND RESTRICTS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTIES CONTAINED ABOVE IN THE SECTION TITLED “LIMITED WARRANTY TO OUR REPLACEMENT AUTO GLASS CUSTOMERS”.
ATTENTION OWNERS/OPERATORS OF VEHICLES THAT ARE MORE THAN TWO (2) YEARS OLD
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
For all vehicles that are more than two (2) years old as of the date of service, YOU ASSUME THE RISK for any and all damage to the following, pre-existing vehicle components during any service performed by C-Auto Glass:
- Cowls
- Cowl clips
- Wiper arms
- Side and top mouldings
Additionally, C-Auto Glass disclaims all liability for visible primer that may need to be applied due to unavoidable scratches to the pinch weld that may occur during the extraction of the windshield.
